Today I went to the hospital for a test... and for some reason, there was this little room in an out-of-the-way cornere where a jewelry sale was going on... I know, I don't really understand it either. But I guess maybe that's what this guy does for a living, because my aunt is a doctor at a hospital a few hours away and I recognized some of her jewelry!

Anyway, I got a silver chain for all my assorted homeless pendants, a necklace made of little pearly beads, and a pocketwatch for a friend's xmas present

i had an *amazing* day at the thrift(s) yesterday. here are my two favorite items i picked up:

vintage 60s plaid wool coat with attached scarf. really cute on!


vintage rhinestone + black glass necklace to appease myself for losing a recent ebay auction (for a necklace):


i also got:
-vintage green and yellow skirt suit (i'll try to take pictures later, it's very unusual and the knit of the top feels like a missoni)
-ruffle colar dress
-black/red sweaterdress
-vintage shoes

i was just browsing through the banana website when i noticed that these boots that I almost bought last week but decided not to because i couldn't justify the price...were on sale!! Plus I used a 20% off code and saved even more...i was so excited that i bought this dress too...hopefully it won't be to low cut for work...the girls aren't that big, so lower cuts usually look ok on me...fingers crossed.......

Ding! Dong! the BAN is dead! Well not really, I broke my shopping ban for a minute to get these:



Ive been wanting some ankle boots, but I dont know how much I'll end up wearing them, or how long the trend will last, or if I'll look silly; these were cheap enough for me to try.
