I'm back from Spain! We had a great trip, but I'm so jet-lagged -- I'm awake at all the wrong times. We did so much -- palaces, parks, museums. And, of course, shopping :) Before I left, I remember a few people were interested to hear about the shopping in different cities, so I wanted to share my purchases.
In Barcelona, I bought some gorgeous chocolate brown leather flat boots to wear over jeans. In Madrid, we hit El Rastro, an enormous weekly outdoor market, and I got some great earrings, handmade journals, and cheap but cute pashminas. Also in Madrid, we went to the Zara outlet on Gran Vía and I got a sleek dark red pencil skirt for 14 euros!
The Chueca neighborhood in Madrid is awesome for leather goods. One block was just pure shoe goodness... rows upon rows of boots in every shade of buttery leather. Sigh...
If you have more questions about Spain shopping, I'd be happy to answer! Glad to be back -- hope you all had great Thanksgivings!
