that's the 30%...and the worst part is that i feel naked without the other 70% even though i have everything i *need* here.


(my organization system has gone to hell in a handbasket in LA...I've just got it all in tons of makeup bags)

I LLOOOOVVEE  buying makeup!  I do the drawer organizer thing too.  I have two small vanity drawers of the stuff with another drawer of random samples I keep around for travel.  I try to semi-control it.  I really only use one mascara - Lancome, one eyeliner - Chanel, and I vary my eyeshadow and lipglosses with many brands for fun.  Although, I do consistently reach for the same one or two colors 80% of the time.

Um...I *think* not a lot, but maybe it is, now that I've read some of the responses here:

1 foundation + powder (bare minerals)

1 foundation primer (laura mercier)

1 blush (Nars)

1 concealer (Prescriptives)

1 eye primer (Borghese)

5 lipsticks (not counting 1 lipstick palette in my purse)

5 lip liners (plus probably 2 more in my purse)

3 mascaras - daily, nighttime / going out, and waterproof

9 eyeliners (I love eyeliner and am on a hunt for the perfect purple, so I have several I've bought while on that quest)

4 eye shadows

5 eye shadows that I use as eyeliners
