Okay, so I told hubby I want an LV bag for X-mas.  I really do want one, but would it make more sense to just get and equivalent amount in the form of gift cards from Anthro or something?  One one hand, I want a really nice investment bag that will last forever.  On the other hand, I'm a clothes horse.


What's a girl to do????

How about an Amex gift card that you can spend anywhere, especially if you find a bag you like even more than a LV one in a different store?

if you KNOW you want a specific bag- pick that.  it is more tangible than a gift card and a better gift, it is probably something you wouldn't buy yourself and you will use it almost every day.

I voted for the bag. A classic LV is timeless, and there's nothing in the world like a killer bag. Clothes are much easier to get tired of, in my opinion...but I do have a serious purse addiction.
