What part of the country do you live in? I only ask because I would suggest different outfits for a New Yorker than I would a SoCal gal.

I don't go for the military look, personally, so it's hard for me to feel them, but I like accessories that make blacks and browns work together, like animal prints, and that's what these can do too. They are somewhat limiting though.

Couple of options, but probably nothing you haven't already thought of: black on the bottom and an earth tone on the top - so, black cropped trousers, regular tailored slacks, or black jeans and a cream, caramel, khaki, or tan top.

Or khaki/tan on the bottom and black on the top. I don't see them with dark brown bottoms though.

A solid black, brown or tan casual dress might be nice.

The only thing I wouldn't reach for is an olive green - that just might be too matchy-matchy. I also wouldn't go with other military/safari/travel-inspired details, because then it's a theme, and suddenly you're in costume.

I actually wouldn't plan an outfit around these shoes. I would throw them on with jeans, just peeping out. They can be the eclectic piece in an outfit you have already put together - if you know what I mean
