How to apply cream eye shadow?

I'd use my fingers. I apply a base cream coat to my eyelids before my shadow and I find I have to use my fingers because it doesn't apply easily with a brush.

I second using your finger. If you really don't want to though, I recommend using a hard brush, similar to a concealer brush. It also might help if you apply something over the cream too, such as Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil.

I use my fingers. It goes on much smoother that way then it does with a brush.

fingers...I find the body heat helps it go on more smoothly.

Thanks ladies! I'll give it a try. I have some mineral veil too, so I'll have to try that on top--I've never heard that tip before, so I'm anxious to try it now.

Wow - I was really surpised to see these responses. I can NEVER get it to go on evenly with my fingers I have to use a brush. I usually use a brush the size of a bushy lip brush. I'd try both ways & see what is most comfortable for you.
