STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

after wearing the same frames for over 8 years, i've decided that i need a new pair of eyeglasses.  I am paying out of pocket, so i want it to be the perfect pair, and low and behold, i found them- but on a model in Jane (jessica cover, she is in front of a blue buggy wearing cheetah print), and it says models own.  They are perfect- i want them.  They look like this but black:

Has anyone seen anything like this?  All i've seen are the square-ish smaller plastic ones, i want big dorky black ones.  I went to my eye doctor today and they had NOTHING like this, not even for men.  I almost want to ask our casting director to ask the model where she got them (we've worked w/her before), but that's kind of embarassing!  And the answer may not be helpful or come at all.  Chain recommendations, online recommendations, or NYC recommendations are best!  Thanks!
