How do you wear your hair for a job interview? What style protrays you as your most confident, capable and most hire-able self?

Down, if its long?
In a low pony tail or clip?
or up like a bun or chignon?

I may have an inteview next week and need some ideas. I haven't had a job interview in like 5 years, eeek!

This depends a bit on the field/type of job as well as you. I think that the traditional answer to this question is "up" (either in a low ponytail or in a bun/chignon) since it projects seriousness, etc.. But I have to say that I just think that I look so much better with my hair down. So while I try to keep it neat and fairly conservative, I opt to wear my hair down for interviews. It makes me feel more like "me", which means that I'm more confident and show a bit more of my personality, which I think is a good thing.

Congratulations!

I agree with Littlebean that it depends on the field, but I think that even if you have long hair you can usually wear it down, as long as it's neat.  IMO straight smooth hair tends to look more professional than wild curls.  IIRC from the pics you've posted, I think down and straight would be perfectly acceptable in almost any situation.

I always do low ponytails for interviews.  I agree  that leaving your hair down is okay as long as it is neat, but I find that if I do, I am always fussing with it--pulling it behind my ear or flipping it over my shoulder--my hair is longer than yours though, so maybe you don't have that problem.
