eta: yeah, mine is vintage...which i think is the best way to find something like this for a lot less. i've seen so many cute capes on ebay.

That doesn't look like a cape to me. Charlotte Tarantola has similar looking sweaters. That si what it looks like most to me.

I thought I was going nuts...couldn't figure out how you got a cape out of that outfit. Seriously, I thought somehow the cape was tucked into the skirt and that's what you meant by the waist tie.

That's what I thought, too!
