Fresh Eyeshadow (spinoff from previous post)
Permalink Closed

Ive never tried Fresh, but im going to give it a try since the color pallette for Stila on Sephora is similar to colors i already own.  Ive never just bought eyeshadow online without trying in store and having the SA show me how to apply the eyeshadow.

So, Can someone help me pick out which colors would work best, and the best way to apply it? Im planning on making a big purchase at sephora, so would prefer to buy from there.

Like I said before I have medium to dark brown hair, brown eyes, smaller sized eyes, and paleish skin with reddish undertones.  I can post/email a pic if someone is really willing to help.
I need something that will make my eyes look more open and wider, and really make them pop, since they are smaller.

It's really hard to tell the true colors off the internet, but just from the pictures I like:

Eye Shadow Trio

in Chamomile or Myriad of the Stars

Use the first color Ivory as a base color from lid to brow, the second shade as your lid to crease color and then the third as your eyeliner.

Here are other options than Fresh, in case you're interested:

Laura Mercier Evolution of Color - Eye

in Plum Velvet

Laura Mercier Micro Mini Eye Paints

in Dusk

Dior 5 Color

in Sweet Illusion

Paula Dorf

I like this one b/c it will work for day and night. White as the base color, use marabou and daydream as lid to crease options, save the steel one for night and apply the liner dry in the day, and wet at night.

I think I like the "ancient spell" palette.

If your are trying to make your eyes look bigger it is best to pick lighter shades, and not do any kind of smokey eye effect with the shadow. It also helps to stick to using only two colors at once, with the darker color on your lid.Browns and light grey work best.

I really like these two palettes.
