I'm going to see the Nutcracker with my BF in a few weeks. I know a digicam would be the best for this experiment, but I don't have one!

I'm planning on wearing a white lacey halter top and a silk skirt that is a deep blue. My first instinct was to get some silver heels, but I saw these today and I looove them. I'll probably get them either way, but do you think I can wear black shoes with a deep blue skirt? or should I stick with a metallic or another color?

I think those shoes would work, but the way I'm picturing it I think the silver would be better.

While those shoes are lovely (and I would totally wear them) I do not feel that they are the best choice for your outfit.  Silver is the way to go.  JMO.

Love the shoes and the outfit! But I do have to agree that if you could either wear a non-blue color on bottom or find a silver pair of shoes, it might be a better fit.
