I just got this one from an ebay seller:

and it is gorgeous. but I am so paranoid from all the fake ebay bags that I'm convinced it might still be a fake. Which sucks, cause I really don't think it is, but I can't relax about it. Nothing seemed off--the seller had 100% positive feedback, this was the only one of these bags they had listed (as opposed to the multiple fakes you see other sellers hawking), the price was a bit below retail but only low enough that it seemed likely they'd picked up the bag at a sample sale, not like the $50 fake paddys, etc. Everything looks perfect and correct, it has the blue suede lining, the hardware gleams and the entire thing is plainly carefully constructed--and yet I'm still paranoid. I should have just ponied up the extra chunk of cash and bought it from pinkmascara.

ETA: D, not to totally enable, but there is also a dark gray version--shopbop has it.

do people make knockoffs of goldenbleu? i thought they only went after the big fish (paddingtons, LV whatnot). nothing is sacred!

Not to be an enabler or anything... But I have a Goldenbleu bag, as does my boss, and we both LOVE our bags. The leather is the most buttery soft stuff you've ever touched, and they're all lined in suede. The attention to detail is great...if you peer in the bags, the suede has a design stitched onto it. Anyway, just wanted to say you can't go wrong with one of these bags!

Oh my gosh, you have to stop! I want to buy one now.... aghhhhh!!!! I do NOT need another handbag.

Maybe I should sell some of my old bags on ebay - does anyone else do this? Or does buffalo exchange take old designer bags?
