cute sweater! It looks like the J.Crew one someone posted not too long ago. The sizing at Madewell is pretty much the same as J.Crew sizing. hth!

If you were going to order the above sweater, would you get the firebird pink (2nd from top) or the electric violet (top)? Pink is my favorite color, but I think the purple is really cool. It looks sort of blue in the picture, but I'm not sure how accurate the representation is. Which color would you get? Thanks!

I think it really depends on your coloring...that pink seems like it could wash out a lot of people because it's so bright, so I'd go with purple.

I haven't seen any of Madewell's current stuff, but when I was in the store (about two months ago), all the "purple" items veered toward the inky blue-based colors as opposed to the red-based plummy colors.

Thanks Lilykind! I've actually been told that I look really good in bright pink, so I might go with that one. But I really like the bluish-purple too, so maybe I'll get both? They're classic sweaters (I think!) and in MN, I can never have enough sweaters, unfortunately.
