Red Sweater Question
Permalink Closed

I recently bought this great red sweater from Gap:

I love the sweater, its the greatest red color (so rich and well, RED) and fits great. However, I'm sorta at a loss as how to wear it other than as pictured, with a white button down. It is an extreme scoop so I do need to wear something under it and because I'm cold all the time I would like to wear long-sleeves under it so no camis or tanks. What other button down color would you guys suggest? Or something other than a button down?

Maybe with a turtleneck and a long, funky necklace?  With a tie-neck blouse?  With a cute printed thermal?

it would also look great with a light-colored (I'm thinking cream or pale grey) button-down with a small stripe or pattern on it--anything with navy, light brown, mustardy-yellow, eggplant... I can see that being fun and unexpected and cool.

Thanks ladies, I'm gonna play around with your suggestions. I totally didn't think of a cute printed thermal underneath, but I love that idea. Time to go play in my closet!
