at first glance, I thought this was a navel barbell piercing thing - and I'm like, "who bought a navel piercing?" and I saw it was Cortney and was seriously puzzled... then I saw it was a hook - I get it now. and I'm relieved to know that Cortney hasn't gone wild on us
I thought the same thing!!!

Ha! They all do look like piercings, but I'd never go that route!
I'm jealous of everyone's Anthro loot! I wish I had a store nearby, but it's probably a good thing that I don't!
Coasters. I picked the mixed category, rather than all 8 the same so I actually have no clue what animals they will be...but they were all cute and funky so I'm cool with anything. There are about 10 or so different prints. For sister #2.
Set of notecards, mixed of the three prints. For the same sister as the coasters.
Will add the rest of the sister's presents as soon as I figure out how to use a ST link for UO!
ETA: Finally got UO link to work so....
For me...thanks Halleybird for the cute thermal suggestion for what to wear under my new red sweater!
All pink items for sister #4.
Necklace and dishes (all in sets of four) for sister #3.
And whoo...sisters are all done. Items are shipped to parent's house so no carrying on train and can steal Mom's wrapping paper. It just leaves the parents and the BF. Yes. Yes.
ETA: Jeans for BF, in same size/length/style he has now. It's so easy when he just tells me exactly what he wants. From Lucky:
And for mommy dearest: from JCrew, plus for me from same site:
in white, black, and chocolate.
Okay, crap. I think I'm done for now. Daddy is supremely hard to buy for, he's probably gonna get the standard monkey socks and mixed nuts. -- Edited by relrel at 13:13, 2006-11-19

Yeah, thanks a lot relrel! I've never heard of that site before, but now that I have, there's a bunch of stuff on there that I'm lusting after, one of which is the mortar and pestle that sephorablue posted:
Anyway, sephorablue, we have a mortar and pestle and I thought we'd never really use it, but I use it a surprising amount. It's great for grinding up cumin for Mexican food and fennel for Italian food. I also use ours to grind up flax seed in cereal.

Yeah...sorry. I actually had never heard of it but I was going through my Lucky before pitching it in the trash and saw thier Xmas gifts under $25 section. I checked out a couple of sites, and Greenergrass Design was the coolest. I was quite surprised at the prices and how cute and stylish everything was. Once I get everything shipped, I'll be sure to post a review of the whole process.
PS: Also going through my Lucky, there was an article on wallpaper stores. Since I am always looking for funky images to use as a background for my computer, I checked a few out. There were some great designs that work excellently as backgrounds and have already picked out new images. I have a problem in that I actually change the background every couple of days.

I won my first ever eBay auction tonight! I've been obsessed with Speedy shaped bags for years, but my poor college student budget can't afford a Louis Vuitton Speedy right now, so I bought this vintage Dooney&Bourke to fill the speedy gap for now. I it!
I've been a bad girl this weekend - my friends came to visit me, so of course we had to go to the Mall of America. I was doing well, but then I did some online shopping too. I am seriously on a ban except for Christmas shopping. I have got to stop buying things, although I have needed some new clothes (or at least my mom tells me, which will be my excuse!)
From Abercrombie (mens):
Plus three t-shirts on clearance.
From J. Crew, a tank top, a tshirt, and a thermal, all on clearance, plus a tank top &
From AE:
My friend bought this (in white) and it is seriously cute. Hopefully it will fit - it's always a risk with AE, for me.
From Sephora:
For me! Love the smell of this.
And from Nordies, this concealer, which may be going back (I didn't realize it was $30!)

A white sweater coat, I can't find the exact one online but this is pretty darn close.
I'm excited because I got mine for $15... and I was this close to buying the same one as in the picture for $50 because I couldn't find any cheaper versions. Yay!
