I'm voting black but I'm kind of drawn to the topaz too...although I'm not sure I'm crazy about the gold-toned hardware paired with that shade of blue/turquoise...I think I'd have to see it in person.

Actually I'm going to go against the crowd and say that for this bag, black is definitely the color that I think looks best! It just looks so good. I somehow think that it could simultaneously be dressier and more casual (I don't know if that even makes sense) and is more versatile and just has a sort of an edgy but classy POP. The topaz is my second favorite and then the mouse.

As much as I love the mouse, I gotta go with black for this one--I think it has the most striking contrast of the classic quilted black leather with the chunky gold hardware. For me it just has the most pop.

word of warning - my little petrol cammie? a rivet busted on it -- it's the rivet that holds together the piece of leather that holds the chain to the bag.  It's my guess that the leather tab holding the chain to this bag is the same.  fortunately, they are fixing it for free, but that bag cost me nearly $900... at least they're fixing it. if anyone ever needs the phone number or e-mail address for marc jacobs repairs, ask me.
