Last minute shopping...
Permalink Closed

I'm going to Europe for two weeks next week, and I have some last minute items on my list of things I need to get.  Please post suggestions of where to get these things!

1.  Two turtlenecks - 1 black, 1 brown (Maybe a deep purple one as well)

2.  Black or dark brown tennis shoes - Euro chic (if that makes any sense)  I'm thinking Diesel, Puma kind of style

3.  A 3/4 length coat, preferably down-filled as it's easier to pack down into a very small space.

I would prefer to get all these things on sale at a B&M store, just because, except for the shoes, they're not things I have much need of in California.

Thanks!!!!

Where are you going in Europe? Just wondering because the locations might change the type of coat that you might need. Gap has one right now, long puffer and on sale.

White and Black, $96. I'm not sure if all Gap stores carry coats but if there is a outlet nearby it's worth checking out.

Turtlenecks, I would suggest checking out H&M. I have gotten some great ones there in the past, silky and thin but still warm. Last time I was there, about two weeks ago, they had a ton of purple clothes.

I have a pair of brown Pumas that I love to death, I would go through Zappos (using the ST link!) and browse on there for Pumas.

How fun to be going on a trip to Europe!

Now this isn't a store that I usually shop at too much, but I happened into an Eddie Bauer last week with my boyfriend at the mall and they had these coats on sale in store:

I thought that they were so cute when I tried them on and I would have made a purchase if I had had any need of a coat at all. Plus, since it's Eddie Bauer the quality in terms of warmth would be really solid, I think.

I second the recommendation of H&M for cheap turtlenecks and maybe even Target? Sometimes when I need something quickly and cheaply, I have found just what I needed things there.

Finally, and I'm not sure what kind of shoes you're looking for, I just thought I would suggest these from Shoes.com for only $49.99 that I bought a little while ago:

I find them to be much more comfortable than the Pumas I own, plus I love that they're so cheap and that they slip on and off.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the suggestions!  I will definitely stop by Gap today, that white coat is adorable.  There used to be an Eddie Bauer nearby, but it's been turned into an H&M., otherwise I would love to try that on as well.  I'll also try on some pumas in the store today.
