glad to see you too! how are you?? how are the kids?? how is Egypt??
Shopping wise, I went nuts! so much so that I am on a strict shopping ban for like, the next six months. but it was worth it!! in paris, the department stores are AMAZING, namely gallerie la fayette and au printemps. it's crazy to see every single designer's ENTIRE collection right there available for purchase! i discovered new designers i'd never heard of and here is what I bought:
1. another pair of Rene Caovilla shoes, TO DIE FOR.
2. a Paule Ka suit--truly the most beautiful suit I've ever seen in my life.
3. a Charles Anastase coat, and then we went to a fashion show and one of the models was wearing it! eek! by the way, the stores have fashion shows and anyone can go, you just have to make reservations.
4. a Vanessa Bruno black bag--finally my hunt for the perfect black bag is over!
5. Louis Vuitton luggage--the keep all in the daumier print, the big one w/ a strap that's unavailable in the States.
6. ballet flats--that's what everyone wears there plus they were a total bargain at only 15 euros!
7. patent leather black t-straps w/ a one inch heel--very versatile.
8. thick opaque thigh high from Monoprix--which is like a combination of Target and a huge grocery store/bakery.
TONS of souvenirs, can't remember them all right now!
will post more pics asap, now that I have gotten the hang of it!
