Prince of Wales Pinstripe Vest Dress This is on sale at eluxury for $194 down from $325.  I have really been wanting this, but $194 is still steep for me.  I usually wear a size 6, but I am not sure about Nanette Lepore sizing and it is only available in a size 8.  According to the NL chart, a 6 should fit me, but I have heard her clothing runs small.  Advice please?


Also, I think it is so cute, but for some reason I just can't get past this jumper image.

Is it just the gray jumper? I do think its cute, but not sure how much I like the shirt worn with it.


To make you feel better it in no way reminds me of that yellow jumper you posted... its so much cuter.

It is super cute and I looooove Nanette Lepore, but if it is out of your range I would take a pass.  It is so close to the holidays and I am sure you have other things you need to spend your money on.


That being said, I have about 10 pieces by here and have tried on countless others.  In my experiences her clothes run TTS or big.  I have never had to go up a size.  HTH!!

I find Nannette Lepore runs TTS or big.  I'm a size 4-6 in pants normally, but wear a size 2 in skirts and pans in Nannette.  Her tops run TTS on me.

I do like the jumper, but I don't think I'd get it because you said that the price is still steep, and with something sooo fall 2006 (IMO), and something that could so easily look like you're a frumpy first grade teacher who had to wear it because you ran out of big crazy Christmas sweaters, I'd pass. I'm not saying that it automatically looks that way, because it's obviously pretty in the picture. But I could see it slipping into that territory very quickly without precise outfit tweaking. So I don't think it's worth it for almost $200

I just noticed that this went on sale on ELuxury $194 from $325.  It's still only available in an 8.
