NineWest Lace Up Boots (need advice fast)

Thanks for all the great advice... this is the shopping & fashion board right?

I'm noticing that nobody responds to the posts I make... its kind of ironic considering just last week people were complaining that there were no new posts on the board.

In case anyone was wondering, I bought the brown ones.

You didn't post photos of the color choices. Also, your sarcastic/bitter tone isn't going to win you any friends.

I have the dark brown ones..and I really like them.

Don't take it personally. Sometimes the board is slower than others. In the future I would definitely suggest posting pics though. I saw your post, but I didn't have any idea what boots you were talking about so I couldn't offer an opinion. HTH!

I think its you, Kitty thats being rude. I dont see anything about my prior posts that can be categorized as either sarcastic or bitter. If you take exception to my question of weather or not this was a fashion board it was because I wondered if I should have posted in fashion polls. Also, I wasnt aware that a post needed pictures to invite a response (although I do see that its helpful) because I thought that this topic was discussed last week and I'm aware that D, fashionprincess and even you own these boots.

I find it really sad and telling that my post illicited a response like yours. I am aware that there were recent discussions regarding the general slowness of this forum and I have to say that as a relatively infrequent poster, it is fear of a response such as yours that discourages me from posting regularly. I was asking a fashion related question and I was expecting a fashion related response back. I was merely drawing attention to the fact that no response was given when I asked... I did not expect to be name called or accused of being bitter.

Apparently, as you mentioned I have no "friends" on this board... thanks for your unintended word of advice. I think I'll visit other boards that arent as exclusive as this one.

Look, I'm not going to get in a fight with you..but you can't honestly tell me your tone wasnt' sarcastic. "Thanks ladies for all the great advice" - I'm pretty sure you weren't being literal there.

iconic, I'm sorry you didn't get a response right away. Had I been at my computer and seen your post I would have responded. I had an appointment I had to go to and no access to a computer.

For the record, I love the brown ones and was tempted myself, but I needed some black round toe boots so I chose the black. You can pretty much wear them with anything you would wear boots with - SB actually has some cute shots in TS wearing them with her jeans tucked in. They also look great with skirts and dresses.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Kitty, but I believe Kitty was simply saying that getting mad at us for not responding right away will not help you win friends, not that you don't have any friends. Sure, it was a jab, I get jabs on the forum fairly often, but I try to not to let them get under my skin. Unfortunately, jabs are pretty hard to avoid in a large group of women. I personally didn't think that your post was sarcastic with a bitter tone, but sarcastic in a frustrated tone.

I am trying to see that no post goes unanswered, but I cannot be at my computer at all times. I also understand the frustration of being ignored when I post - so you have my empathy there.

I'm late to this, but I would be glad to help if I had some visuals. It's hard to choose a color when I don't know what colors the boot comes in.

Uh - I don't want to get involved in the difference of opinion here. I was not on the forum while iconic was asking for help. But I can tell you that anytime I see this:

I've been wanting these boots since D and others posted and now they have my size available.... please advise... what color do you guys think is the most versatile

With no pic (at least, I can't see any pic until someone else posted it further down), I wouldn't give an opinion anyway. I don't have a clue what "these boots" look like or anything, so how could I share my thoughts? I realize you said Nine West in the title but I don't have time to go to the web site to look through the boots to see which ones you're asking about...

Maybe that was part of the difficulty?

BTW I think they are good looking boots. I hope you are pleased with them when they arrive!
