Is it okay to donate a pair of men's dress shoes that are super worn out?  The inner sole is still there but has come off of the shoe and the heel is starting to peel off.  They are pretty bad so maybe I should just throw them out...but they were at one time nice shoes and maybe some poor man will need them to go to an interview or something...I don't know.

I don't know... I think I'd pitch them. They get so many ridiculous amounts of clothes, surely a poor man will be able to find another pair of shoes there!

Ttara123, that is what I thought at first too.  I just don't like to throw things out that others can use, so needed someone else to tell me it was okay.
