I think they're clunky and they look really heavy to walk with.


I guess I find most Fryes kinda heavy because of the thicker soles, but I can excuse it in the Campus and other boots because they have a sturdy shaft that balances the heft at the bottom.


Hmmm...IMHO, Frye has never executed a non-boot style very well.

I'm not really a fan of the big, clunky platforms that have become super stylish recently, but if you're looking for shoes as part of that trend, I actually think that these are really cute!

i think they're cute. maybe not something i'd exactly choose, but if i saw a girl (who obviously knew what she was doing style-wise. read: you) wearing them i would not think, "OMG! look at her big-nasty-clunky-shoes". i'd wear them with wide legged trouser jeans and a fun pair of textured tights right now — but i'm lame sometimes, so i bet you could come up with something better to wear with them.
