My DH and I are going to be in Paris for a looong weekend over Christmas. We're Jewish so it is OK that we won't be with family. Of course it is OK reagardless, but I mention it because we'd like activities to do Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that do not need to be religious. We will go to Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle.
I already know all the museums and stores are closed, but is there anything anyone can think of, or anyone that's been there during the holiday, anything that can not be missed for Christmas in Paris?
Like if you came to NYC, I'd say, you must see the tree in Rockefeller Center, even tho everything is closed.
We've both been to Paris before, but never together. We have 2 days before and one day after Christmas when we can run around and be tourists...and sit around and eat and drink.
The outdoor ice skating rinks set up all over the city (but mostly the one in front of City Hall) - probably not open on Christmas day, but a not to miss on other days.
Paris will be dead on Christmas and Christmas Eve, but hopefully the above will give you some stuff to do!
