My Dad wants a new watch for Christmas. Nothing cheap that is going to break after a year but not one that is super fancy and expensive. He said he wants something waterproof too (not sure why) but anyone know a good place to start looking?
does he like a leather or metal band? does he like a traditional watch (like tank or round with a plain clock face) or a chronograph? date indicator? gold or silver or both? how much do you want to spend?

$100-$200 would be fine. I think he said he would like the date on it also. He isnt to stylish he is more practical so as long as its not ugly. Something he could wear everyday. He wears a lot of polos and button downs.
I think overstock has the best deal on watches - plus you can get at least $15 off by using our link
the ones I have shown here are all Jacques Lemans - you can go in, select men's watches, select under $200, then sort high to low price - here are some I would consider (such great deals!)
