My mom and I spent the night at Hotel Valencia at Santana Row in San Jose just to go shopping. It's only 30 minutes away, but she was feeling splurgey so we stayed the night. The following is our shopping report.

Got these for $25. They were originally $90 (which I was almost going to pay online), in store they were $60. I used $40 worth of Nordstrom Notes to buy them.

Franco Sarto Oggi flat

Got these for $30. I already bought the grey pair at full price ($98 ) b/c I knew they would run out of my size by sale time. These were on sale for $60 at UO B&M, plus UO was taking 50% off sale items. They're actually going to be a Christmas present from Mom. She liked them so much she got a black pair.

Dolce Vita leather ring wedge

And I have officially turned my mom into a handbag maniac like myself. She bought these two in one day. I had to post, just to make myself look good for not buying any bags. And because I'll probably borrow them sometimes.

Cole Haan Paige cognac zip satchel

Francesco Biasia navy Glamour Girl satchel
(this is brown, couldn't find pic of navy)

I won some Dermalogica stuff last year from Lucky Magazine and really liked it. I was whining I didn't want to pay $100 for skincare, so my mom bought some for me.

I got this hype bag at Marshall's for almost 80% off the retail price. I *heart* Marshall's.

Gluttonous is the only way to describe this...

Two treatments at Blue MedSpa (this is the BEST SPA ON EARTH, I swear!)

  • Purifying Facial...my skin sparkles now. it's crazy amazing.

  • 60 minute massage...best massage of my life.

I also left with a cool spray on toner that's going to help with my acne.

Took advantage of the J. Crew sale to get some casual basics.

and a ticket to the Imogen Heap concert at the Tabernacle for next Sunday!

I am usually too lazy to post my purchases but I am so excited about this one.  Yesterday I found some old gift cards to Kohl's so BF and I went and found a new set of knives!  The ones we had were just a random assortment of some okay knives and some really crappy knives, so these are quite a few steps us for us--and we only paid $20 plus tax!

galerie ankle boots

ordered the last pair entirely of these- so hopefully a) they're comfy b) they fit- I had to get a 10- i wear a 9.5, but 10 if something runs smaller c) anthro can find this pair- and doesn't say its out of stock!

thanks girls for your thoughts- i'd been wanting them the most of all their boots and i looked yesterday and they were on sale!  so i got the last pair pretty impulsively, though i'd been wanting them for a while.  no more time to wait on it!  if they're comfy, they will be my only pair of comfortable "heels."

lynnie- i can totally picture those with really thick cream tights and a cape for a kinda red riding hood vibe.  (i'm not sure i would have the guts to wear it, but it looks cute in my head. )

i was kinda boring this weekend since i'm totally itching to buy makeup but i'm wating for sephora's f&f.

i got a bunch of wine for the upcoming holidays and this:

Hi-Reach Ceiling Kit it's a high reach ceilings kit for our 20 ft. ceilings.  it's probably the best purchase this year besides our steamer.

can't find a pic, but two pair of gap skinnies (one faded black, the other blue) with ankle zips. they were on sale for $10 each, so i couldn't pass it up! (i already wore on pair, and love them!)

and i can't believe i did it, but i bought a pair of leggings to go under a dress i bought last week. (in cranberry from american apparel) i almost bought the cable knit ones, because they looked really cozy, but i couldn't justify it.

another Target trip. Got the Rafe clutch in white. I've been needing something small for casual nights out, and hadn't found anything I liked in months but I love this!

I am so gonna be in trouble with the BF when these books all come in and he see's that I bought 15 new books when the ones that I already have don't fit in our apartment. All of them are highly worthwhile purchases to be used for school or ones of authors that I really love. I bought as many of them as I could used so some were only $2 which totally justifies the whole purchase, right?

ETA: One way to not make the BF mad about all the book purchases is to make him mad about clothes purchases...

and more and more underwear, I'm seriously digging some of the GapBody stuff.

I thought I should stop at the Gap outlet just in case there was any good deals and I sure scored a good one!  This tunic length chocolate brown tee was only 68 cents!!!  So I got two of them.  It fits PERFECTLY!  Their was only the one mark down of .97 (sale items were additional 30% off) from the regular price of $16.99 so I'm guessing they had a few hiding in the stock room that got found.

1-1/8" Swirl'Z Satin Chrome Spiral Ball Knob Oh, and four of these swirl knobs to replace the ugly gold tone ones on the guest bedroom closet doors.
