I bought a pair of leather J. Crew slingbacks on ebay that are just a little too loose (in the back).  Do you think its possible for a cobbler to tighten them in the back?  The slingback is elastic.

I don't see why not.  Also, Hollywood tape makes a thinner tape that you can put on your heel so the strap doesn't fall off.  Works like a charm - doesn't fall off all night. You can buy it on their website online.

you can find these on zappos.com, they are by foot petals...they sell them as kits on the site, but i have seen them at nordstrom's were they are sold separately. hth:)

Wow I will have to try these b/c I always have  my slingbacks straps falling and this  has steered me away from some cute shoes
