So today I threw caution to the wind and took the belt craze for a drive. I wore a black button down blouse that have black on black vertical stripes with a gray pencil skirt and black boots (knee high, pinty). Then I put on a pewter braided wide belt. Here's how the rest of the day at the office went....
Did I just lose a button? Nope, just belt on button action noises.
What is caught up in my underwire? Oh, just my belt.

ALL DAY LONG!
I am large chested, smallish waisted, short waisted, and full hipped. I felt like I was boobs, belt, booty!
So, my question is this; am I abnormally disproportionate and unable to pull off the wide belt over a shirt, or do the rest of you spend your day combing the floor for buttons and wondering which will prevail, the bra or the belt?
I wear a 32E bra, have a 27" waist and wear a 6 or 8 and am short waisted. I find anything wider than about 1.5" for a belt feels like it is sitting right under my breasts and makes me look disproportionate. I love the belts but am just very careful not to let them be too wide particularly over a high necked sweater which amplifies the boob issues.
I have experienced the same thing with that huge ass fendi belt I bought. I haven't worn it over a button down yet, but it has definitely hit me in the chest when I sit... I guess we must practice good posture at all times when wearing them?
