i've been on the perennial hunt for jeans that fit.  i have a funky torso, and most high-end jeans do not work, since i need to get a wax to wear them (tmi, i know).  that said, i've managed to find a few cuts that work, but they're still not perfect.

jeans i've tried:

seven boycuts and jaggers (a tad too high), chip and pepper olivia (again, tad too high), saltworks mulberry, joe's jeans muse..

does anyone know of other brands that have higher rises? pretty please?

my abs jeans are higher in the back, and I totally dig that. I wore Antiks the other day, and it was a constant battle to cover the skivs. I would like at least some that are higher in the back, myself.

that's my issue too.. every mid-high rise cut i find is higher in the front than the back, it seems. ugh.  i tried on frankie b's for the hell of it (totally my mistake), and oh my god, it was scandalous.  i felt dirty just trying them on.

anyone know if COH has a mid-rise cut?

awhile ago i tried on a pair of christopher blues and they were a nice higher, but not too high rise. (the cut i tried on didn't work for me though)

i, too, need to find more higher rise jeans. i have some unsightly stomach stretchmarks and i don't like always having to find really long tops to cover the low-rise jeans.

these are mid rise- so they may be pretty high on short torsos- they fit really well though (nicely fit my thickish thighs)- comparable to the joe's muse:

I've found one of the Paige cuts to have a slightly higher rise, though I would call it more low-mid than straight mid-level.  Hollywood Hills is it, I think?

a little higher.  the back is actually the best part- makes my butt look better than any other pair of jeans i own.  pretty big claim =)
