Iam still hunting a brown, knee length coat. Iam praying I will be able to get one next month, I know still kinda far ahead. Here is some I have been looking at which ones do you like better? I will be able to spend 200.00. Iam open to other suggestions as well.
maybe the jcrew will go on sale?? I love it
in brown- showed in white to show details. love this one too
I have become a huge fan of overstock lately. not only do I help support ST when I shop there, but they have some great deals (I think Miss Mee is a fan of them too)
Anyway - I looked there to help you get the most bang for your buck. You can get a $200+ coat for as low as $50.
Target has a really nice, wool-blended coat for $49.99. It's pretty heavy, but great for the price. It's call portrait-collar coat... or something along that line.
It's also on the website, but the picture is ugly; much nice in person.
Don't forget to check out JC Penny's and Dillards in your search. I got my wool coat from one of those 2 places and it has lasted since high school. I know it was definetly under $150 also. Plus Macy's and JC Penny's usually has coupons in the papers.
Personally, I like the Nine West one Hedvig posted for style and value. The JCrew is beautiful, but I just don't see a justification for the price. (And you live in TX, right? So not terribly cold too much of the year, right?) The Nine West is next in style, IMO, and is reasonably priced.
