lace up boots

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for lace up boots, and saw these 9 west ones (I've had really good luck with 9 west boots in the past.) I have black pointy boots, but no black round toe boots, and these fit both the round toe and lace up details I've been looking for (plus there's a teeny platform, which I like - and yes they have a zipper, but that's not a deal breaker for me)

Nine West

I have also been tossing around the idea of these edelman boots but they aren't pitch black - but they're accommodating for tucking:

I like the style of both boots, so I'm not looking for opinions on whether they look good or not, I'm just trying to decide if I should get one or both... or maybe you know of something that should sway me away from one of the pairs or if there's something spectacular out there that I'm missing...

I like both. Both would work for so many different looks. I don't know if you should get both, but that second pair is unbelievably beautiful.

I actually have the first pair and I love them. They're not COMFY, but for heels they're not too bad, and the zip is a life-saver. The leather on mine is unexpectedly nice for nine west but I'm not sure that's not just a fluke. Also, I know crystal is selling her pair of those sam edelmans, and if I am right they are even more of an off-black IRL. Not sure if that would make a difference to you--she cn give you more deets obviously. But the styles are really different so if you really want to get both, I don't think it would be a mistake...

ETA: I should have said, the nine west ones have plenty of room for tucking jeans.

I wondered if those were the ones you have. I'm going to buy them - things don't last long on GC, and I don't want to kick myself later.

I had been looking at the edelman ones for a while and debating - and I've bookmarked crystal's listing already don't bid against me!!!

D, your comment had me laughing.    I can just imagine 2 st'ers in a bidding war over a beautiful pair of boots.  **Let's get ready to rumble**

Yup, in brown.  They're fairly comfortable for heels.  Also love the style of the second pair.

Another enabler here - I thikn both are awesome.  I have the Sam Edelman's boots and they are very cute.  I've gotten a ton of complements when I wore them.  I also have a similar lace-up pair from last season, and I still adore them.

Go for both, you'll get tons of wear from each.
