so in october i subscribed to games magazine through magsforless.com.  i was charged for the subscription on 10/13.  today, i noticed that i have three more charges from the same company (my1mag.com), one for the same amount as before ($16.43), one for $19.95 and one for $4.99.  i can't reach anyone at the 800 number that was on my statement, e-mails to mags for less bounce back as undeliverable, and i don't know what to do!

Call your bank and tell them the charges are fraudulent - they should be able to take care of it from there, and have the charges removed.  HTH!

elle - i plan to do that (as soon as i finish examining my statements to make sure those are the only charges from them), but i want to contact these people to make sure they won't keep charging me and there's no way for me to do that!


has anyone else who ordered from magsforless had any issues?

I've ordered from them quite a few times and never had any issues.  Their CS has always been really helpful, too - I wonder what's up with them?


The bank should be able to block them from charging you again, FWIW.

sorry to be a pain - how did you contact their cs?  i can't find anything on the site other than the email address i already tried.

I emailed - they responded the next day, and I was even issued some extra 'points' to get a free subscription for my hassle (one of the subscriptions I paid for didn't go through to the actual mag, so they had to reissue it to them).


I believe the email addy I used was the one they supplied in their email to me confirming my order - not sure if it was different than the one on the site, though .
