This is completely off-topic, but lynnie, where do you find your vintage jewelry? Are there particular sellers on ebay you know are good? I've been investigating lately but find the sheer quantity of stuff kind of overwhelming to sift through.
thank you so much for posting this!!! It's $165 on ebay and I was considering bidding! Now I have a little more time to consider buying (through stylethread link!).
Thanks for your help- i'm glad i'm not the only one that likes it! i will probably end up getting it
Sephorablue-
No sellers in particular. I usually search vintage deco necklace and go through all the pages, and then every day I search it again (by newly listed) and stop at the last necklace i saw (it is purple cuz i clicked the link the night before). I am pretty quick at scrolling and knowing what i like. I also search by specific things- i love arrowheads so i've searched by that, as well as rose gold, watch pendants, vintage glass, and egyptian jewelry. I've bought 4 necklaces in the past couple of weeks for around $50 total (including shipping), and i'm extremely satisfied with them all.
chunky choker length- i've worn this the most
both are really delicate and small
I think i'm going to put this on a longer chain and use this chain for something else.
I also keep my eyes out for cool things i can put on a chain from the flea market or jewelry district- money clips, old buttons, pretty brooches- etc. i think that is why im debating spending this much money on something!
thanks for posting that! Those are all really beautiful and unique. I love them. Will try searching with deco as a keyword. FWIW, I think the vintage ones have more personality than the MJ... so I don't think you should feel like you're missing something by not having any contempoary pieces...
I really like it! I think it is a good piece and worth the price. Personally, I don't pay that much for my necklaces but I have no problem paying that much for a watch--funny how I think of it.
