What do you ladies think of these sweaters? (Both from Ann Taylor Loft). Also, does anyone own any sweaters from ATL? I've never bought anything there before. Thanks!

They look really nice! Classic sweaters. I've recently become an Ann Taylor Loft convert and I have some really nice sweaters from there. My impression is that almost all of the stuff goes on great sales, so if it's not already on sale, you might want to wait a little while... But if you love them, I suppose that's always dangerous!

I just wanted to put in my two cents about ATL:  I worked there for a while after college, and personally found the quality of their sweaters, and clothes in general, to be sub par.  We got a lot of returns because things shrank/became discolored/stretched out in weird ways after wearing or washing.  In my personal experience, I bought 2 sweaters from them, wore them maybe 2 or 3 times, and either threw them away or gave them to charity.  Anything with wool or angora in it pills HORRIBLY, and when I washed them (following the care instructions) the sweaters shrank length and width-wise.  Also, before washing, within a few minutes of wearing, the sweaters had stretched out and gone baggy in the elbows, and hung strangely in general.

That being said, some people have good luck with ATL.  But personally, I would restrict purchases to Ann Taylor, and even then, I have had hit or miss luck with the quality of Ann Taylor.

I agree. I was waiting for a few things to go on sale a few weeks ago and now they're nowhere to be seen!

I have actually had better luck with my ATL stuff than stuff from regular Ann Taylor. ATL shoes are pretty uncomfortable, though.

Thanks for the input, girls! If I buy these sweaters, I'll wait until they go on sale.

I've had pretty good luck with my ATL items.  I will say that there tops tend to run about a size larger than banana or gap so definetly try on the clothes before you buy!
