buying older bags on ebay

alright, i have never gotten over my obsession with Botkier Triggers, and i even bought a knockoff...but i'm still dying for the real thing (not at the real price, of course).

1. what are the chances of older bags being fakes on ebay?  i'm not trying to buy a muse or a stam something, so it feels less likely, but i dunno...  if the seller guarantees authenticity and it isn't, do i have any rights?

2. what's the most you would pay for a slightly used Botkier from a few years ago?

This doesn't address your question, but if you're nervous about buying on ebay (and yes, there are trigger fakes...), you might consider waiting a few more weeks to see if there's a sale. I remember there was a sale last year in late November/early December, both at the Botkier site and at Barney's, and I was able to score my trigger for 50% off. Obviously it's still not cheap, but $300 is a lot easier to swallow than $600!
