For those of those who are curious to know what happened (see: http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=44784&p=3&topicID=8838953)


Active Endeavors wrote me back the following:


All the Bianca Medium Satchels that we received vary in texture due to the nature of leather. The bag was portrayed with the varying textured front pockets, as pictured below.
 
If you are still unhappy with your bag, you can return it for a full refund. Unfortunately, we have sold out of the Bianca Medium in denim. In the future, we will be more than happy to take more photos for you, so that you can be sure that you are getting a bag in the condition that is acceptable to you.
 
Soooo... thank god they are letting me return it, but I find it disturbing that they considered my bag normal looking. I'm definitely scared to buy another one now.
 
So sad.

I'm sooooo glad they are letting you return it.  But, I do have to stick up for the store.  Everytime I go in there, they are suuuuuuuper nice.  They have special ordered things for me or had people bring stuff from their other locations so that I can see it IRL.  Also, they don't get mad if I don't decide to buy the item that they had brought in.  They also always let me use the lucky rewards and coupon codes in the store so that I don't have to pay shipping AND tax.  So, I feel the need to stick up for the ladies there. 


It's a shame your experiences haven't been that great, but I'm sure they really mean it that they wouldn't mind taking pictures (although it stinks that it has to come down to that).  I agree, the bag is far from normal looking so I'm glad everything (kinda) worked out. 


And, per my other post, please keep your eyes out for any cute bags since we definitely have the same taste in bags.  I have an itch to buy one, but I'm not going to buy something that I don't love.

oh i totally agree, their customer service was awesome. i waited so long before i emailed them that i totally thought they'd say it's too late to return it.


now i'm bagless for fall. sniff!
