Chloe Paddington - Help Please!
Permalink Closed

So I was just at Nordstroms and I was browsing in the purse department, and I stumbled on the Chloe bags (I didn't even know the MOA Nordie's carried them!) and I saw a Paddington in black. Anywho, I am trying to convince my parents to buy it for me as a combined Christmas/Birthday/Graduation/Passing the LSAT present. That's not my question though.

For those of you who have a Paddington, how much do you love it? Have you ever regretted spending that much on a purse? TIA!

ETA: One more question: I found the other one they had on display at Nordies on Aloha Rag for $1585. The SA at Nordies told me this one was $1800. Does anyone know if Aloha Rag carries Authentic Chloe bags? Are they an authorized retailer?

I don't have one, but I am pretty sure that D got her Paddington at Aloha Rag. I would love to get one, but even at $1585, it's a bit steep on a student's budget. I think that if you need a black handbag it would be an awesome choice.

I love my paddy! Granted I got a little lucky and only had to pay $300 when I exchanged for another bag..........some may remember this story, but I was willing to pay full price as a x-mas gift for myself this year.

Yes, I did buy mine from Aloha Rag. I was super nervous about buying it, because it was a lot of money and it's some random boutique in Hawaii. They were really good to work with, provided receipts via e-mail and hard copy, insured the package (which I think I paid for), and I received a 100% authentic bag. I really like the one you have pictured here - the black padlock is new. It is a heavy bag, and slightly cumbersome to dig around in (it's big and the zippers can be tricky because they both zip from the outside in) but I love how it looks - I've actually been using mine everyday this week. They are also not easy find (at least in my neck of the woods) hence buying from some random boutique in Hawaii...

Thanks Carmen and D!

I looked at the way the bag worked at Nordies, and it took a while to figure out how to get into it. It seemed a bit tricky, but's it's so freaking gorgeous that it's worth it!

Good to know that you had such a great experience with Aloha Rag.

Carmen, I can't believe you only paid $300! I'll have to find your previous posts on it.

Now I just need to work on my parents...
