I Want a Mid Range Handbag...

itsapinkthing's post got me thinking about how my search for a new mid range bag is not going so well. 


there were two bags that i was interested in that twinkle actually got and both did not turn out to be great bags (the bianca and the gustto) so i'm scared to pull the trigger on any of the those bags. 


so please help me out.  i don't really have a color preference (i'm pretty good with camel colored bags though). 


what are you girls eyeing?

I've been eyeing the Bulga Pudding Flap tote forever.  Since you like camel colored bags, I like this one a lot:

i have the same botkier that twinkle has/had, and i don't have any issues.  i guess it's a crapshot?  they came out with a new deep purple color that i almost wish i had gotten instead.

holy crap that is a great color!  i have a plum bulga, but i love the color!  hmmm. 


i like that bulga shopchicago33 and i wish i had gotten that style rather than mine.

i guess  i should clarify...i meant that my stock of camel colored bags is good so i will probably go for a different color. 


looking at the botkiers on AE...are the new styles really this shiny IRL.  I have two and the leater is more muted.

i've seen the caramel IRL, and it's not that garishly shiny.  the leather has an overall sheen, but i think the flash makes the leather seem excessively dimpled, crunchy and pleather-y. does that make any sense whatsoever? :)


i think the shine-factor is dependent on the color, though.  i have it in denim, and it's very matte.

I second all the brands that have been listed (Bulga, Botkier, Kooba, HH, AC, M by MJ, etc.). I am just as happy with my mid-range bags as I am with my more "designer" ones. Sorry I don't have anymore suggestions, but the posts above have covered everything I can think of.

Um, that is gorgeous.  I'd hold out for that.


If you can't wait, I love my Rebekah Minkoff bag.  This is a pretty color:


 and it's the morning after mini.  The full size morning after is large and in charge.  But I still love it.

i've been loving the Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag forever!  It's been on my wishlist for months.  I was so sad when I saw it on Anthro's website super discounted and then I couldn't get it at that price.  Maybe I'll still get it, but I saw one girl's pics of it and it didn't look as special.  I still dream of it so maybe that will be the one if I can see it IRL.
