We just got one and I was wondering what people thought of their clothes...style, quality...

I have a few things from NY&CO. They're good for work staples. Quality is on par with Express. Their sizes run huge, IMO.

Some of their casual fabrics don't hold up the best, but I use NY&Co. to get a few basics every season when I get one of their coupons.

I used to like shopping there, but most of their sweaters are acrylic so I stay away from the store now.

I like them. Their prices aren't that bad to begin with, but everything goes on sale all. the. time. I don't think I've ever bought anything full price from them. I think you can sign up for something on their website to get coupons sent straight to you, for things like $15 off a $50 purchase, etc. You can use those coupons on sale items, so it's kind of hard not to get a good deal. I agree that their sizes run large. I think the quality is fairly good - not the best, but I think it's pretty good for what I pay. They're good for staples, although some things can seem fairly dowdy when I try them on.

I buy slack type pants from there, and sometimes button front shirts (I can always count on this store for a unique color) .  They have cute accesories. Some malls have a NY& co accessorie store only.  I really don't like the tops or activewear. Ditto on the sales and sizing I can fit a 8 in this store and I'm like a 10-12.

Their sizes run huge.  I'm lucky if I can find a shirt small enough, pants I don't even bother.  Once a SA told me this sizing is something new and she also could once fit into the clothes.

The sweaters are nothing but acrylic, they would be nice if they made them out of cotton, but then you wouldn't need to keep coming back to replace them!  Tje button up shirts is what I go in there for.  Very good (well before they started making them too large) I have this one I had gotten at least 2-3 years ago and have worn many times and still looks new.

The style is mostly work basics, and some casual active wear.

Never pay full price, it will go on sale.  A lot of times mine will have a wall devoted to sale items mostly under $10.

Yeah, their pants are cut for chicks like me with a butt & thighs. I hate to hear the skinny girls that can buy pants at the other 1,000 stores in the world complain that they aren't cut for them. It's one of the few stores that aren't a plus size store (and I'm not a plus size) that I can find pants that actually fit.

I agree that they are good for basics for works & pants for me but also wouldn't pay full price for anything there.

their sizes do run pretty big -- I tried an XS top and size 2 pants and they were at least 2 sizes too big for me, and I am not that small (not complaining, though, laken!). The pants are also just cut for people with less waist and more hip than I have.

They do have some good stuff, though, and not all of it runs big. I have a skirt from there that I love, and I have a couple of button-downs that have lasted 5+ years.

Hmmm, doesn't sound real promising....I'm on the smaller side (5'2", 105) so the fact that sizes run big doesn't help.  But I was looking for some basics for work....I will probably check it out.  Maybe I will get lucky with a few pieces.
