I need some new workout clothes. Can we brainstorm some ideas?  I need several pieces-pants, jackets, tanks, etc.  Thanks!

What type of activities do you normally do? Do you need stuff for a cold winter, or are you in a moderate climate? What's your top priority - performance, price, or something else?

Ooh, good question.  I mainly do weights and elipitical and pilates.  I live in the midwest so it will be starting to get cold soon.  I also need shoes too!  Thanks!

I love shopping for workout clothes!

For pilates, I like knitted pants, because they are typically a little looser, give way really easily but then snap back into shape. KDDance stuff is a little pricey, but lasts forever.

For lifting weights, I like terry pants because I always get cold in my ultra air-conditioned gym when I'm not doing cardio. I've picked up several from Target in tons of colors but they aren't on their website. They are comfortable and flattering - likely knockoffs of Juicy. They are most like these:

For cardio, I wear shorts or capris, because I don't like the annoyance of pant legs. I usually hit Target and Old Navy.

Shape just did their shoe review. Their cross trainer recommendations were:

For weights: Nike Slat Trainer Pro

(Also comes in a cool silver/pink combo)

For cardio: Reebok Awake Training (comes in a really awesome blue color on reebok website, but image is flash)
