you guys remember Pleaser, right? the eff me boots and shoes you can put a gold fish in? never in a million years did I think I would ever entertain buying this brand... until I stumbled on these. I had been looking for a pair of tall flat boots, and I've always loved cc's flat thigh high boots (these will probably only cover my knee though - plus they're cuffable). anyhoo - $58 and they're leather - we'll see if they're totally tacky when they arrive, but if they're half way decent, what a bargain! also they were the last pair - and in my size (of course!) thankfully the label will be unreadable

sidenote: everytime i see that brand, i think about the day my bf and i were delirious in bed and spend hours reading the customer reviews (i think you posted one on here which inspired the cheap entertainment that day.)

thank you for forgiving me!
I know - they are so hilarious - I should go read some again - there's all kinds of people out there wasn't one about a woman buying them and her husband wore them, then her daughter? bizarre...
this pretty much sums up the brand:

when i saw the title of this post, i was pretty convinced that either they were for a halloween costume or you had somehow ordered the wrong pair of shoes! but those boots do not look like they're made by pleaser. i like them a lot!

I am totally confused by this review for these shoes:

Sassy! These are not as high as I normally wear, but perfect for standing next to my husband who is on the shorter side. Great shoe for short dances, but not very comfortable for the all-nighter.
this chick sounds like she is on drugs:

Nice all-rounder - Fits well to a couple of clothing from my wardrobe. Wore them with leather skirt in to the club and you are the magnet of the eyes. Match it with pants or jeans in the office it looks great and sexy but classical enough. Turn your jeans in wide sleeves up to the knee that everyone can see the buckles on your boot side for a shopping or city trip makes great glances and a lot of compliments. in the end your boyfriend or husband will be appreciate for this delightful excursion at your side, helps you to pull off your boot and massage your feet I wore it for a 9 hours day in the office and the boot fits very well for me, the heel is high but comfy. Thx zappos.com for providing me quick, not the first time. Of course I'll come back. Kelly
OOOOH!!!! OOOOOOH!!! THESE LIGHT UP!!! I think I found my new avatar...
sounds like the lights don't last long, though. darn

These are cute for 1 or 2 wearing and then the light start going out on one foot first, not only that the batteries run down at different times, I have been told by other people who used to sell them. I bought a pair and wore them maybe 5 times and the right shoe does not work anymore
