Jessica Simpson, what the hell?


I honestly think she is losing her mind. Has anyone else seen this video? What do you think?


First, she looks like a plastic Fem-bot. What has she done to her face? She doesn't blink the whole video. Then what is up with the breakdown and transformation into some sort of Courtney Love-circa 1994. Is she trying to incite sympathy from the public (since it seems like she has been the "bad guy" through their breakup and Nick has been the "good guy") or is she really just losing it? What would possess her to want to be portrayed that way?

I had to go watch it - Ugh. I just can't stand to watch her sing first of all. And yeah, that was just strange. I have no idea how she is trying to come across but if it's sympathy she's after, I just am not feeling it.

Okay, I just actually watched the video. (here is a link if anyone is lazy)


My reactions:
  • she's going to rub the skin right off her neck
  • she looks like a blow-up doll. her lips are so over-inflated she can't close her mouth
  • cheesy acting in the scenes where she's wearing the black tee
  • Coutney Love called, she wan's her tiara and makeup back

I just watched it too. Some observations:

- Do you think she could feel herself up anymore?
- She looked like Britney at points with all that makeup
- She's lousy at lip sync'ing

I am not a fan at all. Yikes. She was naturally very pretty...key word, was. Her mouth is terrible. I don't think acting is gonna work out for her. I think that was her best impression of tortured artist on the brink and I am not buying it. I think the singing is seriously off, but they dont to those things live. She has to have editors adding the music track in, and they failed her miserabley. I doubt they had tons of talent to work with, so this is thier best huh, scary.

It's official: the party is over for Jessica Simpson! Wow. She kind of looks like a drag queen. It's a shame -- she was so pretty before.

Her whole fame was based on the Newlyweds persona, and now we're seeing the inevitable decline post-divorce. I'm no PR expert, but she only became super famous with that TV show, not because of her singing or acting, and now that she and Nick aren't together to be all cute and befuddled, it's not working.

because, halleybird, maybe if you were ever in such a state of emotional trauma that you had to cut off your hair and dress up like a hooker, you would understand how you can't stop the drama just to go find regular scissors

this video overall sucked.  the only part i actually liked was that she was actually cutting her hair off.  that was cool.  other than that, i thought it was complete trash.

Bwahaha! I thought the same thing.


My thoughts:



  • The black and white scenes aren't so terrible (except for the nail scissors managing to cut through all those extensions - yeah right)

  • The rest of the scenes are terrible

  • It seems a little off that one would wear a beauty crown while one is declaring one's own independence from needing someone else's approval, no?

  • I wonder if she overacts this badly in her movies...

  • Why is she always trying to tear off her clothes in the colored scenes? Do her clothes stifle her as well? Weird...
