I heard about this price increase yesterday. It sure increases their sales, because people go out and buy a bunch of stuff before prices go up.

I think the last price increase was just in July?

They do it because they know people will continue to buy.  In some people's eye's the more expensive it is the more they find it desirable to have.

I think it is ridiculous. My opinion is that low end designer handbags are getting to close in price so they feel justified to raise prices because they consider themselves "couture", when botkier bags and bulga are going to hit the $700 range they feel they are justified in being in a different class then that.

Just my 2 cents ...
