Edited because I just won this costume on Ebay...the seller included an IRL pic so I know it doesn't look *quite* as slutty as this one...at least I hope! Hopefully it will arrive before my party on Friday

I need a costume to wear for work. I'm passing out candy downtown as part of the city's fall festival, so I need something family friendly ;)

I have dressed as Kelly Kapowski before (saved by the bell) it's easy and fun, but nobody but me will get it (everyone will be under 10, or my co-workers 50+). I make a fantastic Cinderella, but my Cinderella dress has beer stains from the last time I wore it . If I can find another baby blue formal dress I would do that again.

All my other halloween costumes are to low cut for work....

Since last yr I have been wanting to be a pirate or a girl boxer. But I dont know if I'll be going to anything this yr where I have to dress up.

I have to dress up for work tomorrow (although I'm debating on whether I'm actually going, I'm having some emotional issues right now which isn't the best for a customer service type environment). Anyways, if I do go, I'm going to be a pirate. It's the cheapest thing I could think of, all i had to buy was a bandana. I'm wearing dark skinny jeans tucked into knee high lace up suede boots and a white blousy top, gold hoop earrings and a hot pink bandana...the place was all out of red. My ex told me it wasn't very piratey since they didn't have jeans back then, but oh well!

If I end up dressing up, I am going as The Devil Wears Prada.  The devil part is easy, the Prada part not so much, but I figure it gives a me a good reason to buy some Prada!

I love this idea! I might just steal it -- I have a Prada purse and would just need to concoct a devil outfit...

A pirate!!! I've been obsessing about it since last year! And if for some reason, I need a second costume, I'm thinking Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Honestly, I just want to wear sparkly shoes. That's so typical of me. Basing my halloween costume on the shoes I want to wear.

LOL.yeah it's a more "adult rainbow bright". When I first told my bf is was dressing as rainbow bright for halloween he rolled eyes, then he saw the costume and he now approves.

I don't know, I feel torn. I have been wanting to be Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica all year, but no one except my BF and about three of our equally fanatic friends would get it. I had also thought of the two of us going as Britney & Kevin. I could stuff a pillow under my least flattering skirt, tease my hair and put it up in a scruffy pile, make giant fake zits on my face and drag around a baby doll. Britney is better, I know, because Starbuck will only confuse people, but I love her so much that I'll probably do it anyway...

This is what I was last year!! Preggo Britney complete with Blue "I've got the golden ticket" wifebeater, cutoffs, redbull, cheeto's, and Kool Cigs....it was a lot of fun...and I found the best "Pregnant Belly"....I went to The Party Store and found what looked like a mask you would put on the front of a pumpkin, instead of actually carving the pumpkin, you could just slip the mask over the front (Imagine a pumpkin cut in half...it was plastic and had an elastic band on it. I stuffed the mask with tissue paper to keep it from crushing in case I bumped into someone and slipped it on!....Apparently it looked incredibly real, because as i was dancing and enjoying an alcoholic beverage and pretend smoking my Kools, a friend came up laughing and said his date got soooo mad because I was pregnant and drinking and smoking!!!

good times.

Be Starbuck! I think people will know who you are. I've never seen BG, but my BF tried to get me to be Starbuck this year. I'm not going to be her because I've never seen it and I don't even really knwo who she is, but everyone I mentioned that to said that it would be an awesome costume - a lot more people watch that show than I thought

I picked this vamptess costume up today ($20 ) . I needed something work appropriate, and I already wore a witch costume last year. My only problem with it is that the collar won't sit up straight. I'll have to find a way to fix that.

I want to be Hugh Hefner (feminist play on the whole women-dressed-as-bunnies trend - PLUS I look hot in silk pajamas. Love how that works :) But I can't find a damn smoking jacket! i have everything else, and I'm bummed.
