I bought a ticket back in June for a trip next week - I paid $400 directly from American Airlines.


Now the same ticket is on sale for $250 - does anyone know if I could get AA to refund the difference or am i SOL? TIA!

I have no experience with AA, but we fly Southwest alot and I know that if the prices change before you fly, we can bank the $$ for use on our next trip.  So although not an actual refund, it's definitely money saved.  You should definitely try.

I'm pretty sure that with AA they will not refund you the money.  I bet if you call customer service a call they *might* give you a credit on AA.
