Desert Hills Premium Outlets?

Am I right in thinking that this outlet is about 2 hours from San Diego? I have a few days of free time in San Diego, is the shopping good enough to spend one day there? I can't believe all the major designer stores they have!

It's great outlet shopping, and I'm not usually an outlet fan, so that's a lot coming from me.    Cabazon Outlets is smaller, but it's right next door.  You could also pop over (or stay at) Casino Morongo.  I stopped by the Crate and Barrel outlet (at Cabazon) on Sunday.  MAN, the outlets were PACKED!!!  And yes, it should take roughly 2 hours to get to Cabazon (where all the outlets are) from San Diego.  Cabazon is about 20 minutes from Palm Springs as well.  Could be a fun day or weekend trip.

Yes - it's worth the trip. Really good outlets. The Theory/Tahari one is my favorite!

their food court kinda sucks, but i could spend all day there.

I've never been, but one of my dear friends who lives much closer than I do to them loves both outlets.

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely be going now...Is it sad that I'm more excited about shopping at the outlets than I am about my entire trip? I've seriously been giddy for the past two days thinking about shopping there!!!


How are the prices? I'm guessing they're not going to be cheap cheap cheap, but are they reasonable considering the designer lables?

in general, the prices aren't that great.  the discount can range from 30-80% off retail.  if you dig, though, you can definitely find some great sale items.
