Kenzi Boot Review
Permalink Closed

While no one asked for a review on these boots, I'm going to give one anyway because I absolutely LOVE them. They are the most comfortable boots ever. They're really easy to walk in and are really good quality. This is my first kenzie shoe purchase of any kind, so many of you may already know about the quality, but the leather is so soft and has that "worn" look already. I really love them and can see them fitting in with my wardrobe nicely.

Good, good.  I have a pair of Kenzie boots headed my way, too -- not these boots, but the "Hippo" style in black.  They look like they have a similar wedge heel.  I was debating whether or not to get the ones you got, too.  Are you wearing them with skirts, or just pants?  The main reason I haven't gotten them yet is that I'm not sure what I would wear them with.

I wore them with pants today, and was wondering how they would look with skirts and/or dresses. I don't know if I'm bold enough for that.

One more question on these before I order them, nunzi, did you get your normal size? I generally size up 1/2 size in boots but didn't know if that was necessary - I am tempted to go try them on IRL but I really don't know where - Nordies doesn't have them on their website.

I was wondering the same thing, Mandy. I have black sensible shoes for NYC but not brown...I was just hoping but not believing they would be THAT comfy - but I'm curious as to what she says.....

I bought these last year and bought my normal size, but 1/2 size up might feel a little better.  They weren't that comfy to me, but it may just be because I'm not used to taller heels.

I have now tried these on twice, once without thick socks and once with them. I think I would size up 1/2 size. I also don't find them too terribly comfortable after the second try. Then again, I own a couple of pairs of Kenzie wedges and I don't think they are all that comfy. They're okay if you aren't walking far, but I wouldn't want to go sightseeing in them. I also should mention that I have a bad ankle, I do a lot of city walking, and I don't really find any heels or wedges, except maybe my Reaction boots, very comfy. But I am probably buying these anyway!

I ordered my regular size, which is a 7 1/2 and I thought they fit perfectly. I wouldn't have wanted them any bigger. I really am not a person that can walk well in high shoes, but for some reason, I can walk well in wedges. They're super comfortable to me and I try to shy away from high heels. I found them easy to walk in and didn't feel the need to take them off after 9+ hours of wearing them. I guess it just depends on the person wearing them, but I love them and found them really comfy.
