Dyson Vacuum?
Permalink Closed

Hey girls! Wanted this to get more traffic. Does anyone have a Dyson vacuum? Good experiences? Bad? How is it with picking up pet hair?

Halleybird, what kind of vacuum do *you* use?

I use the Dyson Animal and it is easily the best money we've ever spent.

Our dog sheds a ton and his undercoat is really wiry so it really gets stuck to things.  We have 3 cats too.  The Dyson picks up the hair really easily.

We've had ours for two years and we literally use it 4 or 5 times/week because our critters shed so much.  It has worked brilliantly.

I have the Dyson Animal, and I absolutely love it. There's nothing it won't pick up and emptying the dirt out is a breeze.

Here are 4 threads with all the STer comments you could ever want. Since you asked, the 4th one is HB saying how much she loves hers.

Link 1,

link 2,

link 3,

and link 4.

I have a Dyson lowreach and I have one dog. I did n't get the animal because I read online ( i think on Amazon) that the Animal attachment doesn't work that well. I just use my other attachements to clean the sofa and it works great. I bought it factory reconditioned because I didn't want to spend 400 bucks and it came just like new. looked like no one ever used it.

I had a Oreck before and Dyson works soooooo much better.

yep! I have a Dyson Animal and I love it. I used to have a Eureka, and I have a small Dirt Devil (for stairs, etc) and they don't even come close to comparing. Totally worth the money IMO.

Thanks, all! I don't know why I didn't think to do a search for Dyson.
