I have 2 pairs of H&M jeans. They run small, Im normally a 25 in other jeans (TR, Citizens) and I had to get a 26 in H&M jeans. THey are tight in the thigh area, for me at least. I tried on a 27 in store and the thighs area was still snug on me. I still like my jeans though. I wear them as much as my more expensive ones. HTH!

What I've tried on there runs really small compared to the other jeans I have. Like 2 to 4 inches smaller, depending on the style. ^.~
