which knee-high boot?
Permalink Closed

I need to pick up some knee high boots today for an event tonight.  The weather turned really cold here, so I don't want my bear legs showing...

I also want to be able to wear them to work with long skirts/dresses.  I have pretty skinny calves that are hard to fit.  Are pointy-toes still chic or should I look at a round toe?

Here is what I am eyeing (have limited stores here to choose from)

Kenneth Cole

BCBGirls

Antonio Melani (not sure about this heel)

I'm not going to be much help considering the two before me, but I like the BCBGirls ones.

I just called my local Dillards and they don't have that boot.  Who knows what I will end up with, but I'll post it.

Well, when I got to the store, I tried on all three of those above AND this pair:

and the Kenneth Cole were my faves, but the upper shaft was way too wide.  The BCBGirls were way to uncomfy, and the Antonio Melani just didn't fit right.  These Calvin Kleins fit okay, but I wasn't sure about the silver square tag at the top and they were a little slouchy b/c of my skinny ankles.

I think I have just about given up with the tall boots, my legs are too scrawny and I look like a little girl playing dress up.
