no, I do not love it. the quality of the leather is nice enough, but the flap on the front pocket doesn't lay flat (both corners turn up), and the turn lock is too loose. I'm returning it. I'm bummed too, because I like the rest of the bag.

i think lilykind said something about the turn lock being loose, too...can you explain that a little better? is it loose as in not attached to the bag well, or loose as in when it's "locked" it's not really locked?

or maybe i'm better off just passing...ugh.

oh! and - is the hardware super-shiny gold or is it more matte/muted?

hmmm. how do I explain this... loose in that when you have the "turn piece" through the metal slot and turned, there is a noticeable gap between the turn piece and metal slot - it's not a tight fit and it rattles. This also results in the turn piece sliding back and forth in the slot, instead of staying tight in the middle of the slot. That bugs me.

as far as the flap turning up at the corners, it's almost like the flap should be folded down further up - like if I pull the flap down further past where the turn piece fits into the slot, it lays better. it's almost like the turn lock was placed too high.

the metal is shiny gold, not matte.

who knows, maybe I got the lemon in the bunch. but if you look at lilykind's travel outfit pics, you'll see how on her bag, one corner of the flap is turning up -- both of my flap corners are turning up like that.

here's the pic - see how the flap is turning up on one side? do you see how the turn piece has slid to one side of the slot?

one of my flaps is turning up in the picture, but I tucked the flap inside for about a week and the problem is mostly solved. it's not perfect, but it's not something i absolutely can't deal with.

the bottom is also not as solid/structured as I'd like it to be, so I'm adding a piece of cardboard or something to the bottom so the bag remains more structured.
